Membrane Bioreactor (MBR) is a kind of advanced technology developed since the end of 20th century which realized the efficient combination of membrane separation technology with biological technology. The membrane separation technology replaces the traditional active sludge method and the normal filter unit, its strong separation ability can make the SS turbidity near to be zero. Hydraulic retention time (HRT) sludge age (SRT) is completely separated, the outlet water is good and stable in quality, it can be reused without the third level treatment. Due to the high security and economic and effective water, it greatly expands the scope of application of waste water recycling.

Specification
1.Solid-liquid separation can be realized efficiently. The separation effect is far better than conventional sedimentation tank with good quality after treated water. Suspended matters and turbidity in after treatment water approach zero. This technology saves water to the largest extent.
2.The interception performance of the membrane totally intercepts microorganism in bioreactor, in this way, HRT (hydraulic retention time) and SRT (sludge age) is totally separated which leads to flexible control and operation.
3.MBR process omits the secondary setting tank and disinfection tank, reducing the occupied area.
4.The SRT is prolonged due to the blocking effect of the memberane, which creates microorganisms that are beneficial to slow proliferation.
5.Since the SRT is very long, the bioreactor has played the role of "sludge nitrification tank", thereby significantly reducing the sludge output, the excess sludge output is very low, and the sludge treatment cost is low.
6.Reactor is processing under low sludge loading, long sludge age. The surplus sludge is relatively low and the zero sludge
discharge can be realized.
